Hi, I’m Sean.
As a brand strategist, I'm experienced in using market research and workshops to help organizations achieve their goals.
The pandemic completely changed how teams work. I noticed that clients were increasingly looking for creative ways to solve complex problems, requiring everyone on the team to be fully involved.
This led me to explore real-time strategy workshops using the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method in 2024.
The approach is a perfect fit for how I have always worked: with a strong sense of purpose, tempered by a spirit of play and possibility.
I became a certified facilitator in the method and created Clutch, a boutique consultancy that combines this capability with my experience in brand and creative strategy.
I enlist other facilitators, creatives and strategists as needed to tackle a variety of challenges.
I’m based near Hartford, Connecticut but I travel to wherever interesting problems are.

How it works:
Pre-workshop
We have a call to discuss your goal, the Big Question. I’ll learn about your organization, participants, and help you hone an ambitious objective for the session.
We will determine the right length based on number of participants, budget, and time.
We’ll discuss logistics and requirement for the room, etc.
This is done 1-6 weeks in advance, depending on your needs.
Workshop
We will bring all necessary LEGO materials, flip charts, etc. including additional facilitators if discussed.
You communicate to participants and ensure attendance. We will as well, outlining the goals and guidelines of the session.
Arrive on time ready to play with purpose! Just lean in and leave the rest to us.
The group will be taken through a series of achievable challenges based on your objective.
Post-workshop
We will provide all documentation including photos, and verbatim quotes from the session.
Depending on your needs, we will also create a more detailed analysis with POV on your goals and steps you can take to meet them. This is informed by our deep experience in consumer research and brand strategy.
Should you wish to act on some of your new insights, we are able to refer you to our trusted collaborators to bring your new insights to life.
Reduced-cost workshops are available for small businesses and nonprofits.
